1. Introduction

Welcome to Backtestic ("Platform", "Service", "we", "us", or "our"). Backtestic is a web-based trading simulation and backtesting platform operated by:

By accessing or using Backtestic, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you must not access or use the Platform.

2. Service Description

Backtestic provides a simulated trading environment that allows users to:

• Replay historical market data (crypto, stocks, forex, futures) candle-by-candle
• Place simulated trades using virtual capital (no real money is involved)
• Analyze trading performance through statistics and analytics
• Participate in competitive trading battles with other users
• Access educational content about trading strategies and markets
• Earn commissions through our affiliate program

Backtestic is NOT a broker, exchange, or financial institution. No real money is traded on our platform. All trades are simulated using historical data.

3. Account Registration

To use certain features of the Platform, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
• Maintain the security of your password and account credentials
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account
• Accept responsibility for all activities occurring under your account

You must be at least 18 years old or the age of majority in your jurisdiction to create an account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

4. Subscription Plans and Payments

Backtestic offers the following plans:

• Account Registration — Free account creation and access to billing setup
• Pro Plan ($19/month) — Unlimited sessions, all instruments, advanced analytics
• Elite Plan ($39/month) — Everything in Pro plus prop firm simulator, live journal, API access

4.1 Payment Processing

Card payments are processed securely through Stripe, Inc., a PCI-DSS Level 1 certified payment processor. Cryptocurrency payments are processed through NOWPayments. When you subscribe to a paid plan:

• Your payment card details are collected and processed directly by Stripe — we never store your full card number
• We receive from Stripe: your name, email, last 4 digits of your card, card brand, country, and transaction history
• Stripe may perform fraud checks using your IP address, device information, and payment patterns
• Eligible new users may receive a limited free trial on Stripe before monthly billing starts
• If you begin a free trial, your subscription automatically converts to paid monthly billing when the trial period ends unless you cancel in account settings before that date
• Cryptocurrency payments (BTC, ETH, USDT, SOL, and others) provide 30 days of plan access per payment and do not auto-renew
• Card billing occurs monthly on the anniversary of your subscription date
• All prices are in USD and include applicable taxes where required

4.2 Cancellation and Refunds

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Upon cancellation:

• Your paid features remain active until the end of the current billing period
• No refunds are provided for partial months of service
• Your account reverts to unpaid account status after the paid period ends
• Your data (sessions, trades, analytics) is retained for 90 days after downgrade

Refund requests for exceptional circumstances (e.g., accidental double charges, technical inability to use the service) may be submitted to support@backtestic.com within 14 days of the charge.

4.3 Consumer Information for Distance Contracts

If you are an EU consumer purchasing Backtestic at a distance (for example, online), you generally have the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days without giving a reason. To exercise that right, send us a clear statement before the 14-day period expires at support@backtestic.com.

• By starting a paid plan or free trial with immediate platform access, you expressly request immediate supply of digital services before the withdrawal period ends
• If you withdraw after the service has started, we may be entitled to payment for the part of the service already provided, to the extent permitted by applicable law
• If a digital service is fully supplied during the withdrawal period with your prior express consent and acknowledgment, your withdrawal right may be lost to the extent permitted by law
• Canceling a subscription in account settings stops future renewal charges, but cancellation is separate from any statutory withdrawal right you may have
• If you cancel a free trial before the first paid invoice is created, no first monthly subscription charge will be made

5. Affiliate Program

Backtestic offers an affiliate program that allows registered users to earn commissions by referring new subscribers. Referred users receive a 7-day free trial of the Elite plan; affiliates earn recurring commissions on all subsequent payments.

5.1 Program Terms

• Affiliates receive a unique referral link and code upon enrollment
• Commissions are earned when a referred user makes a payment after their free trial converts
• Free trials are limited to one per customer and one per credit card to prevent abuse
• Commission rates and cookie duration are set by Backtestic and may change with 30 days notice
• Commissions are tracked via cookies and referral codes attributed at signup
• Self-referrals (referring your own accounts) are prohibited

5.2 Payouts

• Minimum withdrawal threshold applies as specified in the affiliate dashboard
• Withdrawals are reviewed and approved by our team within 7 business days
• Payouts are made via bank transfer or other methods as available in your region
• Affiliates are responsible for reporting affiliate income to their local tax authorities

5.3 Prohibited Activities

Affiliates must not:

• Use spam, unsolicited messages, or deceptive practices to generate referrals
• Bid on Backtestic brand keywords in paid advertising
• Misrepresent the Platform, its features, or the nature of simulated trading
• Create fake accounts or engage in commission fraud
• Imply that Backtestic is a broker or that real money can be earned through backtesting

We reserve the right to suspend affiliate accounts, void commissions, and withhold payouts in cases of suspected fraud or terms violations.

6. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the Platform — including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, the Backtestic name, software, and the selection and arrangement thereof — are the exclusive property of State Prosperity s.r.o. and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works from, or commercially exploit any part of the Platform without our prior written consent.

7. User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Platform, other accounts, or our systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the Platform or servers connected to it
• Use automated tools, bots, or scrapers without prior written consent
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Platform
• Upload malicious code, viruses, or harmful content
• Harass, abuse, or threaten other users
• Manipulate leaderboards, battles, or ranking systems through exploits

8. Market Data

Historical market data provided on the Platform is sourced from third-party providers including Binance, Dukascopy, Yahoo Finance, and others. While we strive for accuracy:

• We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of market data
• Historical data may contain gaps, errors, or inconsistencies
• Some data may be synthetically generated from daily candles for historical periods where intraday data is unavailable
• Past market conditions do not predict future results
• Market data is provided for simulation purposes only and should not be used for real trading decisions

9. Not Financial Advice

Nothing on this Platform constitutes financial advice, investment advice, trading advice, or any other type of advice. The Platform is an educational and simulation tool only. You should consult with a qualified financial advisor before making any real trading or investment decisions.

Simulated trading results have inherent limitations. Unlike real trading, simulated results do not account for slippage, liquidity, emotional factors, or actual market impact. The fact that a strategy performs well in backtesting does not guarantee it will perform similarly in live markets.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, State Prosperity s.r.o., its directors, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for:

• Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
• Any loss of profits, data, or business opportunities
• Any losses resulting from decisions made based on simulated trading results
• Any losses resulting from unauthorized access to your account
• Any interruptions in service, downtime, or data loss

Our total liability to you for any claims arising from the use of the Platform shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Disclaimers

The Platform is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that:

• The Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure
• Any defects will be corrected in a timely manner
• The results of using the Platform will be accurate or reliable
• The quality of the service will meet your expectations

12. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Platform immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including breach of these Terms. Upon termination:

• Your right to use the Platform ceases immediately
• We may delete your account and associated data after 90 days
• Outstanding affiliate commissions may be forfeited if termination is due to fraud or terms violation
• Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect

13. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Czech Republic. Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or the use of the Platform shall be resolved by the competent courts of the Czech Republic, with jurisdiction in Brno.

For EU consumers: the former European Online Dispute Resolution platform has been discontinued. If you have a consumer complaint, please contact us first at support@backtestic.com. You may also use the competent out-of-court or alternative dispute resolution body available in your country of residence where applicable.

14. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify registered users of material changes via email or through an in-app notification at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of the Platform after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
